This is, unfortunately, one of Vivian Hsu’s most overlooked songs. Originally released in April 2005 as part of the album”狠狠愛” in 2005, it was re-released with other excellent songs (So-So, anyone?) earlier this year as part of a larger compilation - Love Vivian. (I do wish that Taiwanese singers would come up with more innovative and creative album names…
It definitely shows how far Vivian Hsu has progressed from earlier albums like “我愛你X4″ (I Love You Four Times Over) to a more mature, and more multitalented singer.
This particular song is tricky to translate. 歐兜邁 doesn’t really mean anything in Chinese, but judging from the lyrics, I’d hazard a guess that it’s either a brand of motorcycles or some slang for it. After all, Chinese for “motorcycle” is 摩托車, or mo tuo che - quite different. Anyways, the song has a fast, catchy beat that I particularly like.
