Recently released, this song was sung by JJ Lin (林俊傑) for a S-POP (Singaporean pop) contest. In reality, which is S-Pop? I don’t think such a thing can exist. Even though we have many talented Malaysian singers who sing in Chinese (Gary Cao, Guang Liang, Fish Leong, Nicholas Teo, among many others), we don’t call it M-Pop… Perhaps I’m an advocate of C-Pop without borders - without discriminating as to which country it’s from.
Other than that, I can’t say there is anything blisteringly special about the song. Listen and see for yourself!

Just ignore the SPop thing, its just some competition the media is organizing. Most people here would also disagree with SPop as a category. Hurray for Chinese Music Forever!!!
S-Pop is just an "internal" event to rally the local
thom | January 3, 2008S-Pop is just an “internal” event to rally the local composers-singers to reflect on what theyve achieved over the years. Singaporean artistes havent had it easy in the early years, thus it’s a time for them tolook back and then look further ahead. The intention isnt to divide….
