Why do Koreans speak so many languages? Virtually every Korean I know speaks three or more languages - and here, BoA is no exception. For her upcoming album Look Who’s Talking coming out next year, BoA released this single Eat You Up, featuring all-English lyrics and a urban/hip-hop/dance style. That and the title of her album is probably a good indicator of what her full-album is going to sound come a few months.

Pretty good, though I believe cannibals all over the world will probably take this to be their anthem and theme song.
This also marks the second thing we’ve covered that has no Asian languages in it, but is merely sung by an Asian singer.

i believe she’s trying to break into the english market with this one. there’s like a few different versions of the main video…personally i think the song’s nice but i dunno if it has the staying power to really push her into the english market successfully, and the lyrics are sort of silly to be honest.

but damn, her english pronunciation really got a hell of a lot better over the last four years! good for her.
